If your system is licensed for Web Services Publishing, the Web Services Publishing module requires a connection to a GCS (Global Cloud Services) server in order to report usage statistics to your solution provider. A GCS connection is not required for systems licensed for Enterprise Web Services Publishing.
To configure a connection to a GCS server, open your Application Server's web.config file using a text editor such as Notepad and modify the following settings:
