Documents must be added to the CCR – Clinician Complete and Return life cycle. The recommended process for this is to be done after all document validation has been completed.

Customers that were installed using the Healthcare Base Implementation (HBI) should add documents to the CCR – Clinician Complete and Return life cycle by enabling or adding the Add to CCR - Clinician Complete and Return rule in the Content Conditioning life cycle. For Configuration queue versions prior to V2.3-2024.01.15, you need to add a new routing rule. For Configuration queue version V2.3-2024.01.15 or later, you need to enable the pre-existing rule.

If your organization is not using content conditioning, you will need to set up one of the alternative processes:

• Documents must be added from any process that is being used for document validation and HL7 sending.
• Appropriate clinical document types must be assigned directly to the CCR – Clinician Complete and Return life cycle.
