This queue is very important when using the QA Integrated Scans or the Post Link QA process. If the solution does not call of either of these processes, this queue is unused. This queue is responsible for cleaning up documents that are currently awaiting QA review in a CC03 CPD queue but are updated through another process (Healthcare Corrections, Scanned Document Link Maintenance Interface and so on).

The process starts when a document is added to this queue by another lifecycle or process. It is a requirement that any document that is updated and is still in the QA Review step of any CC03 Capture Process be added to this workflow queue. The standard Healthcare Corrections and Epic Scan Maintenance lifecycles include logic to account for this situation. Special configuration steps must be followed to enable the logic in those lifecycles. Additional information can be found in their respective Blueprints.

Once a document has been added to this queue it waits for a timer to execute the logic. The Document Handle must be copied to a keyword to reinstate the relationship between the main document and the shadow eForm. After the relationship is restored the shadow eForm is deleted.

Note: Documents deleted through Workflow go to Document Maintenance and are purged eventually.

Next, the CC03 - Document Under Review Note is removed from the main document. Lastly the main document is added to a Capture Process that sends the document directly to Awaiting Commit. Since a document can only be present in one Capture Process at a time, the document is then pulled from its previous batch and no longer waits in Awaiting QA Review.
