The Integrated EMR Documents task list checks if the Import Source is equal to EPIC FOS, SCM, or a different custom configured value.

The presence of any of these keyword values signifies that the document was imported through an API integrated scan and should already be linked to the EMR.

If this task list is enabled, the document is sent to the Populate MRN using MPI and Department or the QA Integrated Scans process. These task lists are executed only if they are enabled.

These documents should not be added to the HL7 sending life cycle, therefore content conditioning is complete and the documents are removed from the life cycle.

Prior to being removed SCM VRF documents are verified to see if the Control ID keyword is populated. If not, they are routed to Awaiting Review. If they are routed to Awaiting review, a note is added to the document with a reason why the document is added to Awaiting Review.

Note: Do not use the Data Capture Server to perform barcoding in the capture process with QA of Integrated Scans. DCS creates a new document and document handle when processing bar codes and does not work with the shadow document and solution.
