The Medical Document Type Group list is used to determine which Document Types contain medical documents that need to send binary change notifications to Epic. If a document is assigned to a Document Type that does not appear in this list, the document will be automatically removed from the ECS – Chart Search Notification life cycle and no notification will be sent to Epic.
