If OnBase is configured to use annotations, users can place annotations on a selected document in the content viewer. Annotations typically bring attention to select information about a document for other users to see. Consider the following:

  • Annotations are only supported with OnBase documents.
  • Annotations are not supported with NilRead or XDS content.
  • Annotations can be applied only if Note Types are fully configured in the OnBase Configuration module. This includes privileges to either view, create, edit, or delete existing annotations on a document. For details, see your system administrator.
  • The arrow and ellipse annotations can only be displayed on image or text documents.
