To upgrade Hyland Migrate to a later minor version, you must install a newer version and import projects from your older version.

To upgrade Hyland Migrate:

  1. Contact your first line of support and provide them the current version number of your Hyland Migrate solution so that they can provide you with the installation files for the most recent minor version of your solution.
The version number is provided in the About dialog box or in the name of a .zip file, such as Hyland Migrate-beta.7.0.x, where 7 is the major version and 0 is the minor version.
CAUTION: It is not recommended to upgrade Hyland Migrate to a newer major version. Doing so may adversely affect project configurations and cause project import issues.
  2. Open the older version of Hyland Migrate and export each project.
For complete instructions on exporting a project, see Exporting a Project.
  3. Install the new version of Hyland Migrate.
For complete instructions on installing Hyland Migrate, see Installing.
  4. Open the new version of Hyland Migrate and import each project.
For complete instructions on launching Hyland Migrate for the first time after installation and importing a project, see Launching Hyland Migrate for the First Time and Importing a Project.
