When running a migration, errors can occur for a multitude of reasons, including but not limited to the following:
- Invalid credentials or permissions in the source or target system
- Loss of network connectivity to the source or target system
- Missing files in the source system
- Unexpected attribute values during mapping
All execution errors can be categorized into two types: fatal and non-fatal. For more information on these error types, see the following sections:
To view error details in the Service Console window or Hyland Migrate log file, see Error Logging.
If you have enabled logging during migration configuration, you can also review which items succeeded or failed in the migration process and analyze their causes. For more information on accessing migration logs in a database and CSV file, see Viewing Migration Logs.
