If you have enabled CSV logging in the Log section during migration configuration, you can view migration results for each file in a CSV file.
To enable CSV logging while configuring a migration, see Logging.
To view logs in a CSV file:
- Navigate to the Hyland Migrate folder.
-
Within the csv_logs folder, browse to the folder that was
created for the migration you executed.
The default location is CSV_logs\<Project Name>\<Migration Type>\<Migration Name>, where <Project Name> is the name of your project, <Migration Type> is the type of your migration, and <Migration Name> is the name of your migration.Note: Items that failed to migrate are logged in the failed_<...>.csv file; whereas, successfully migrated items are logged in the succeeded_ <...>.csv file.
-
Open the succeeded_ <...>.csv file in Microsoft
Excel.
Log columns are displayed.Note: Each time a migration is executed, a single record is inserted into this table for every processed item, regardless of whether it succeeded or failed.
Depending on the migration type, log columns may vary. The following table describes columns created for the OnBase Unity API migration.
Column Description id The original unique identifier for the migrated item. hm_target_id The new identifier, also known as Document Handle or itemnum, in the target OnBase system. mapped_<attribute-name> The name of the Document Type in the target system. file_size The size of a migrated file (in bytes). df_file_type_id The Hyland Document Filters result code based on the file type determined for the source file. df_file_type_name The Hyland Document Filters result name based on the file type determined for the source file. -
Optional: If needed, open the failed_<...>.csv file
in Microsoft Excel.
Log columns are displayed.
Log columns are the same as in the succeeded_ <...>.csv file and the Error Message column is added.
