If you have enabled database logging in the Log section during migration configuration, you can view migration results for each file in the selected database.

To enable database logging while configuring a migration, see Logging.

To view logs in a database:

  1. Connect to the database server where the log table is configured.
For complete instructions on connecting to a database server, see your server's documentation.
  2. Retrieve migration records from the table.
For the specific command to retrieve data from the table, see your server's documentation.
    Log columns are displayed.
Note: Each time a migration is executed, a single record is inserted into this table for every processed item, regardless of whether it succeeded or failed.

Depending on the migration type, log columns may vary. The following table describes columns created for the OnBase Unity API migration.

    Column Description
queue_id The original unique identifier for the migrated item.
target_itemnum The new identifier, also known as Document Handle or itemnum, in the target OnBase system.
target_mapped_<attribute-name> The name of the Document Type in the target system.
file_size The size of a migrated file (in bytes).
df_file_type_id The Hyland Document Filters result code based on the file type determined for the source file.
df_file_type_name The Hyland Document Filters result name based on the file type determined for the source file.
status A value of 1 indicates that the item was migrated successfully.

A value of 0 indicates that the item failed the migration process.

error_message An error message for items with the status of 0.
