You can create multiple projects in Hyland Migrate to group related migrations.

After launching Hyland Migrate for the first time, you are prompted to create the first project. Once the first project is created, you can set up more projects as needed.

To create a new project:

  1. Launch Hyland Migrate by double-clicking the hyland-migrate.exeexecutable file.
The Projects window is displayed with all your created projects.
  2. Click New Project.
The Projects window with all the projects created and the New Project button
The New Project dialog box is displayed with the Project Name field.
  3. Enter a name for your new project in the Project Name field.
  4. Click Launch.
The project is created, and the Welcome to your new project window is displayed. The project's name and the port number used by the project's backend service are displayed in the lower right corner.
Note: Once a project is initiated, a backend service is started and minimized by default, automatically saving all changes and logging every activity.

Once a project is created, you can create a migration. To create a migration, see Creating a Migration in a New Project.
