  • There is no specific order for entering these keys in MDM software.
  • Hyland Mobile does not report any error (or feedback) to MDM software if anything goes wrong with the configuration. However, the user may encounter an error in Hyland Mobile for processing the configuration keys. Invalid configurations are ignored without informing the user.
  • MDM software report the failure if the configuration is not pushed to the target device. But, there is no way to alert Admins if configuration fails after being pushed successfully. However, users can click the info icon of the installed app to check if they are being managed by Admin and share the information with Admin.
  • Managed and unmanaged applications can co-exist in Hyland Mobile. Managed applications cannot be edited, updated, or deleted by an end user. This can only be done by an Admin.
  • The information dialog of the managed application is displayed on the screen as shown here:

Note: Unmanaged applications are applications installed in Hyland Mobile by a User. Managed applications are applications installed in Hyland Mobile by an Admin through the MDM configuration.
