After initializing Hyland IdS, it requires additional configuration for use with Perceptive environments. You must configure a provider to use in Perceptive environments. Providers are configured for the tenant and define the authentication protocol that can be used by the tenant.

A valid provider must be configured to access the Hyland IdS Administration page and configure Hyland IdS.

To configure Hyland IdS for use with Perceptive environments:

  1. Locate the idsconfig.json file for Hyland IdS and open it for editing. In a default installation, this file is located at C:\Program Files\Hyland\identityservice\config\.
  2. Locate the EnableLocalLogin flag and set it to false.
Note: The default value of EnableLocalLogin is true.
  3. Locate the Providers block. Initially, it is an empty list.
  4. Configure a valid provider to access the Hyland IdS Administration client. See the following table for valid provider types.
