Special processes have been created for administrators to customize ICRC. These processes are in a process group labeled customer-customization.

Any step can be added to the customer-customization processes. This procedure describes how to add a script task.

Note: Administrators should not modify any processes not listed in the customer-customization section.

To add a script to a custom process step:

  1. Open Studio Modeler.
  2. Open the Intelligent Correspondence for Revenue Cycle project.
  3. In the left pane, open the Processes list under the Process Automation heading.
  4. Locate the process group named customer-customization.
  5. Click on a process to modify.
    The process diagram is displayed.
  6. From the toolbar on the left, click and drag the Create script task element to the diagram so that the input and output lines connect it to the start and stop events.
  7. In the Properties window on the right, enter a name for the task in the Name field.
  8. Enter a brief description of what the task will do in the Documentation field.
Note: Do not enable Asynchronous Continuation.
  9. Leave None selected for the Multi-instance type.
  10. Either add an existing script or create a new script.
    • To use an existing script, select it from the Script name drop-down list. Skip to step 13.
    • To create a new script, click the plus sign (+) above the Script name drop-down list. The Create Script dialog box is displayed. Proceed to the next step.
  11. In the Create Script dialog box, do the following:
    1. Enter a name for the script in the Script Name field.
    2. Enter a brief description of the script in the Description field.
    3. Click Create Script.
    4. From the left pane, under Scripts, select the name of the new script.
The script editor is opened in a new tab.
    5. In the script editor, replace the default comment text with your script.
    6. Save your changes by clicking the Save script icon (Save script icon).
  12. Return to the process editor for the process you're updating.
  13. Configure the Input Mapping and Output Mapping parameters for the script task.
  14. Save your changes by clicking the Save process icon (Save process icon).
The changes to the process are saved.
