You can release a claim on a task to allow someone else to work on it.

Users can release their claim on any task assigned to them. IMR administrators and managers can also release other users' claims to allow work to be reassigned.

To release a claim on a task:

  1. Open the task list.
  2. Find the task you want to release.
  3. Click the Content actions icon (Content actions icon) in the rightmost column.
    The Content actions menu is displayed.
  4. Select Release Claim.
    The Release Claim dialog box displays a warning indicating active work will be lost.
  5. Click Release Claim to confirm the action.
    The claim on the task is released.
