Extraction tasks require you to review and address keyword errors after documents have been automatically indexed.

If a document has an error following automated indexing, such as a missing value, the document is placed in the Extraction task list. After all errors are resolved, the document may be sent to the Quality Review task list to ensure the errors have been addressed adequately.

To resolve extraction errors:

  1. Open the task from the Extraction or Quality Review task list.

The task is displayed in a new page. The Data Validation pane displays information extracted from the document. Extraction errors are highlighted in red.
