After your initial configuration of ImageLink, review the following backup recommendations.

Make a copy of the PACSgear Core Server\config directory.

Backup the PGCore database.

Backup the ImageLink database.

Backup any files you manually changed to support custom environments. For example, any web.config files you modified to support load balanced environments.

Optional. Backup the ImageLink database on a daily basis.
Note:
Information on scheduled procedures is stored in the ImageLink database. As a result, backups of the database may include PHI.
