If an HTTP client is being used, which does not support all necessary HTTP request methods, the request methods can be overridden via the “_method” query parameter or the “X-HTTP-Method-Override” request header. This functionality is disabled by default in the product, but can be re-enabled by making updates to the WEB-INF/config.xml file that is distributed with Integration Server. If these updates are required, you must manually make them after each upgrade of Integration Server is put in place. Making updates to the config.xml file requires a restart of the web application server.
Add the following bean to the beans definitions:
<cxf:properties> <entry key="org.apache.cxf.jaxrs.allow.http.method.override" value="true" /> </cxf:properties>
You can place as the first bean in this file immediately following the beans element start tag.
