To configure HyRCS for use with Titan 5.0, complete the following steps.
- For initial installations, navigate to the Program Files\Hyland\Hyland Rendering and Conversion Service folder.
- Open the appsettings.json configuration file in a text editor.
- Change the Kestrel.Endpoints.DefaultEndpoint.Url setting to match the URL you want to use for the service.
-
If you are using https connections, you can add a
Kestrel.Certificates.Default section and complete one of
the following actions to update the settings to load a certificate:
- • For pfx certificate files, update the Path setting to the location of the pfx file and the Password setting to password you want for the pfx file.
- To use certificates of other types or to use the certificate trust store see the Configure endpoints for the ASP.NET Core Kestrel web server topic on the Microsoft website.
"Kestrel": { "Endpoints": { "DefaultEndpoint": { "Url": "https://*:5001" } }, "Certificates": { "Default": { "Path": "C:\\sample.pfx", "Password": "5@mpl3P@55w0rd" } } }, - Change the Authentication setting from SignedRequest to ApiKey. This setting enables API-Key authentication through the X-Api-Key http header.
-
Add an ApiKeys.Key setting where the key value matches
the render.renderingconversionservice.apikey value in your
integrationserver.ini configuration file.
The ApiKeys setting in HyRCS are a set of keys to allow when the Authentication is set to ApiKey. Integration Server sends the apikey in the X-Api-Key http header when making requests to the Rendering Conversion Service.
"Authentication": "ApiKey", "ApiKeys": [ { "Key" : "MyApiKey" } ], -
Update the HostOptions.AllowedOrigins setting to a list of
web clients to allow to connect to the service.
"HostOptions" : { "AllowedOrigins" : [ “https://titan.onbase.net”, “https://titan2.onbase.net” ] }, - Save the appsettings.json configuration file and close the text editor.
- Restart the HyRCSWebAPIService to make the changes effective.
