To setup and use the SCIM adapter, complete the following steps.
-
Contact your Hyland account manager and obtain the required SCIM license:
Perceptive Content SCIM Adapter Feature.
Note: This feature license is required for SCIM adapter usage.
-
Configure the Integration Server for SCIM, by verifying the following:
- The SCIM license is installed.
- Token-based authentication is enabled in the environment.
- The keystore path and password are configured.
- scim.adapter.enabled=TRUE
- Any optional request limits and default department settings are configured as needed for your environment.
-
After licensing and configuration are complete, generate a bearer token for
SCIM authentication by navigating to your Perceptive Content Server installation
directory and executing the following command:
intool.exe --cmd create-authentication-token --lictype "Perceptive Content SCIM Adapter"
- Once you have a token, include it in your HTTP requests. For example, Authorization: Bearer <token>. Clients that support SCIM 2.0 can then call the discovery endpoints first and proceed with SCIM resource operations.
