When you use a Single mode capture profile, ImageNow Printer prints one or more electronic files from an application, such as Microsoft Excel, into a single document. To print an electronic file into ImageNow Printer, complete the following steps.

This procedure requires a capture profile set to the ImageNow Printer source and Single mode, and the Drawer > Content > Create/Append privilege.
  1. Open the file you want to print into ImageNow Printer.
  2. in the application that created the file, click File > Print.
  3. Set the printer name to ImageNow Printer and click OK.
  4. If the Print dialog box displays, in the Capture Profile list, select a the single mode ImageNow Printer capture profile and click OK.
    If the capture profile you select or the application plan in use has any values that require user input, the Proposed Keys dialog box appears.
  5. In the Proposed Keys dialog box, enter the property values you want to define for the new document and click Capture.
    The ImageNow Viewer - Single Scan window appears.
  6. In ImageNow Viewer - Single Scan, set any additional property values you want to define and click the Save button.
  7. Verify the quality of the printed file and, on the Scan toolbar, click one of the following options:
    • Save Scanned Image. Saves the imported file as a document and assigns the property values that you defined.
    • Rescan Page. Replaces the currently displayed file with a new file that you select to import.
    • Discard Scanned Image. Removes the file currently displayed.
    After you import the new file, you must click Save Scanned Image.
