You might consider the following log properties for customization when you upgrade:
property.logfolder |
Mention the path of the folder where you want the log files to be generated. |
property.filename |
Mention the name of the log file. |
monitorInterval |
Mention the time, in seconds, after which the file configuration is checked for changes. |
rootLogger.level |
Mention the main log level. This is mapped from log4j.rootLogger property of the old log4j file. |
In addition, if your existing Apache log4j configuration is customized for package or class specific logs, you must reconfigure it to work with Apache Log4j 2.
