The iFiller menu in the Administration area of TransForm E-Forms Manager is where you enable the TransForm iFiller feature, allowing users to interact with published forms through a browser instead of, or in addition to, the TransForm Filler client. In order for the TransForm iFiller feature to work with your TransForm E-Forms Manager system, you must have a TransForm iFiller Server instance installed, running, and configured to communicate with the TransForm E-Forms Manager server. Once the TransForm iFiller server is configured, you can activate the feature in TransForm E-Forms Manager, providing the base URL by which the TransForm iFiller interface will be referenced.
To enable TransForm iFiller:
Check the Enable iFiller box to enable the feature.
Enter a URL that contains the protocol, host name, and port by which the TransForm iFiller application can be found in a browser. The end of the URL should contain a web application context of iFiller, followed by a trailing slash. For example,
The URL value provides a reference by which forms published in TransForm E-Forms Manager can be opened through the TransForm iFiller interface. Enabling TransForm iFiller sets the base URL that identifies the TransForm iFiller application location, so that when users request a form from a link on the TransForm E-Forms Manager interface the request can be sent to the TransForm iFiller context instead of into TransForm E-Forms Manager itself.
Once these steps are done, you can try the URL by pasting it into a browser, adding iFiller.jsp to the end. For example:
After TransForm iFiller capability has been enabled for TransForm E-Forms Manager, you can enable forms individually for using in TransForm iFiller by making the appropriate settings in the form catalog.
