Create a web connection profile

To create a web connection profile, you must enter a profile name and web server URL. To create a web connection profile, complete the following steps.

1. On the home screen of your device, select Perceptive Experience.

2. Select User  and then select Web Connection Profile.

3. On the Web Connection Profile screen, select Create.

4. On the Create Profile screen, in the Profile name box, type the profile name.

5. Optional. To scan a barcode value, tap Barcode and point your device camera to the barcode.

6. In the Web Server URL box, type the server URL. Verify that you have entered the server URL with the correct server protocol (http or https).

7. Select the Activate Profile check box to use this profile during your current session.

Note  If you select this option, the app automatically checks for updates after you create the web connection profile.

8. Select Done.
