Edit a web connection profile

After you download a bundle and add a web connection profile for the bundle in use, you can modify the profile name and server URL information for an existing web connection profile. You cannot modify the web connection profile name and URL after you activate the profile and the corresponding bundle is downloaded. To edit a web connection profile, complete the following steps.

1. On the home screen of your device, select Perceptive Experience .

2. Select User  and then select WebConnection Profile.

3. On the Web Connection Profile screen, in the required profile area, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and select Edit.

4. On the Edit Profile screen, in the Profile name box, type the new profile name.

5. Optional. To scan a barcode value, tap Barcode and point your device camera to the barcode.

6. In the Web Server URL box, type the new server URL. Verify that you have entered the server URL with the correct server protocol (http or https).

7. Select the Activate Profile check box to use this profile during your current session.

Note  If you select this option, the app automatically checks for updates after you create the web connection profile.

8. Select Done.
