Indexing rules tell Perceptive Search which folders and files to index, and what criteria (if any) to apply to particular files and folders. The Perceptive Search Indexing Wizard applies very basic indexing rules to each of the folders it processes. By setting up indexing rules manually, you can gain greater control over how Perceptive Search treats different file types.
To modify the file rules of an index, select:
Index > Content Sources and click on Lotus Notes Rules
Perceptive Search can index Lotus Notes databases stored either locally or on a Lotus Domino database.
User
The user is for reference only, it shows the Lotus Notes User ID that is currently being used. To change the User ID, you must open the Lotus Notes client and change the login
Server
If you wish to index Lotus Notes databases on the local machine, leave this value empty. To index Lotus Notes databases on a Lotus Domino server, enter the server name here.
DIIOP host
The DIIOP host is used if the index is to be used with Enterprise Search. Perceptive Search can communicate with the Lotus Domino server to authenticate the results list. Your Domino server must have DIIOP configured and running.
