dialog. - Add to catalog for easy access
Indicates that the index should be added to the My Index Catalog list.
This allows you to select it for searching easily. - Advanced Options
The advanced options dialog allows you to control advanced features of the
index, including:- Document Presentation
The document presentation controls how the documents will be presented in
Perceptive Enterprise Search.- Default View
Select this option to achieve the fastest indexing and browsing speeds possible
within your environment. When browsing a document Perceptive Search will make use of its own
internal viewers that will allow for multiple hit colors. - Quality
Select this option if you want your documents to appear in the Perceptive Search Browser
almost exactly as they would in your word processor or native application. This
option may result in slower indexing and document browsing. Query performance is
not affected. - Transparently convert to HTML
Select this option if you want Perceptive Search to attempt to render your legacy
documents, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, WordPerfect, etc, as HTML. This
representation whilst rich will not be same as the original document.
Note: This option only appears if you have a RichHTML license for Perceptive Search.
- File Types
Indicates the file types that should be indexed. See
File Types for
more information.
