New Index Wizard - Update Schedule

If your data is changing on a regular basis, it is important to keep your indexes up to date to reflect the new/changed data. Perceptive Search provides flexible scheduling options that you can use to keep your indexes fresh.

You can specify if how often the index is updated. It can be one of the following:

• Daily
  Perceptive Search will update the index at least once per day. It uses the Scheduling Options configuration settings to decide at what time the schedule should begin.
• Weekly
  Perceptive Search will update the index at least once per week. It uses the Scheduling Options configuration settings to decide on what day and at what time the schedule should begin.
• Monthly
  Perceptive Search will update the index at least once per month. It uses the Scheduling Options configuration settings to decide on what week, day and time the schedule should begin.
• Don't update index automatically
  Check this option if you want to manually update the index.

Note: you can modify the schedules at any time by going to Tools > Scheduled Updates.

Click Next when ready. You will be directed to the Index Path page.
