Viewing the common words of an index

The Common Words list displays the common words that were included when the selected index was created.

To generate the Common Words list:

1. Start Perceptive Enterprise Search - Local Administration Console
2. Open the index you wish to modify, you can do this by either:
   • Selecting it from the My Index Catalog list
   • Select File > Open an Index from the menu and browse to the location where the index is stored
3. From the menu, select Index > Statistics > Common Words

After Perceptive Search has finished, you can scroll backwards and forwards to look at the entire list. You cannot edit the list in this window;  to do so, select Tools -> Common Word List.
