The Social Explorer allows users to view results on Social websites on the right side of the search window. The Social Explorer will minimize if the browser window is not wide enough. The arrow allows the Social Explorer to expand and minimize, regardless of browser width. This feature is not available on Perceptive Enterprise Search Anywhere and ResearchAccelerator. The Social Explorer will not appear if JavaScript has been disabled by your browser.

Adding the Social Explorer

To enable the Social Explorer, navigate to WebSites > Customizations > Social. From here you can turn the Social Explorer on or off, as well as enabeling specific Social services.

Setting up Facebook, and Twitter

Facebook, and Twitter will reqiuire additional setup before they will appear in the Social Explorer.
